Captain Jim's Seafood Buffet: A Must-Visit Seafood Dining Experience in Pigeon Forge

Our waitress was great..I don't eat seafood but the rest of my family does. They enjoyed the buffet...if you want snow crab that is extra..I managed to find some American food for me to be content. They offered crab cakes,fried scallops,frog legs ( of all things )..deep fried mussels...etc. For dessert you need to mention the dessert menu becuz they don't just offer what little dessert they have at the buffet. And the dessert on the menu is free.

Service was kind and Good. The environment was good around the edges, rather than the center. The catfish and flounder was quite dense and unpleasing. The crab was a bit salty but tender, a lot of the food was really well made. The scallops were however, adoring, so soft, tender, and juicy. Desert was also pretty great, notably their chocolate cake.

Were we influenced by the billboards around pigeon forge? Yes.. yes we were. But for the price it was totally worth it! We went around 6PM and it was not as packed as we thought it would be. So we thought oh no might not be good, but it was delicious! It’s all you can eat, they had a great selection of seafood and other little things. They do have a separate menu that you can ask for if you have kiddos who don’t eat what is up on the buffet table. Everything in the buffet was hot, and fresh. Nothing was ever cold, and they even have dessert. You do have to ask as they keep it refrigerated in the back, but wow! I wish we lived closer because I would be here more often!

Listen!! This is worth it. The buffet is really good. Plenty options. Chicken tenders were my favorite. Yes the crab legs are a plus and the dessert is good too!!

So we decided to go early to beat the rush in hopes of our large group to be seated together. The staff worked with us patiently and was able to accommodate us. The variety of food was a surprise! No we did not have crab legs, but you will not be disappointed! It was hot and the cold food cold. Something for everyone as the not seafood options were really good too. They also keep the buffet well stocked. So yes highly recommend.

Ok so I'm not going to lie I was a bit nervous eating here cause of the review. It seemed like at best a hit or miss, but I loved it. The food was hot and fresh and did have good flavor. The only thing I didn't like was the baked fish, but in saying that I don't think people come here for the baked fish. The all you can eat crab legs were on point and they kept up with the demand. I would definitely come back. Give it a try. 54.99 with crab legs believe 28.99 with out.

I gave it a 4 because the crab legs and shrimp were over cooked and very hard to crack andpull the meat out shrimp was not devained and was hard to peel due to being over cooked. Salmon was very dry. Baked chicken was good. Beef was tasty and tender. Very pricey if you get the crab legs $60 including tax and ice water.
